Recognizing an Overdose

An overdose is when more drugs have been taken than the body can handle. Depending on the type of drug taken, overdose can look different.

Stimulants

Cocaine, crystal meth, MDMA [ecstasy], Ritalin™ and caffeine.

Depressants/Opioids

Heroin, morphine, fentanyl, codeine, oxycodone, Vicodin, Percocet, Tylenol #3, methadonel, alcohol, GHB, or benzodiazepines.
