AGCNN (Acute Care Geriatric Nurse Network)

The Acute Care Geriatric Nurse Network (ACGNN) was a Ministry of Health Initiative which functioned to enhance nurses' ability to care for acutely ill older adults. Along with this, with support from the Ministry of Health, the Geriatric Emergency Nurse Initiative (GENI) was launched. GENI offered education and workshops for health professionals working with seniors with special emphasis on care provided by Emergency Nurses. Some key education sessions from these programs are available by e-learning.
