Choice in Supports for Independent Living (CSIL) is a self-managed model of care where people receive funds to purchase and manage private home support services. Responsibilties may include recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and supervising home support workers.

This is one of the many Home Health services we offer.

Who is eligible for CSIL?

You must be eligible to receive Home Health service and:

  • Be medically stable
  • Require daily personal care
  • Be able to direct all aspects of your care or have a client support group that can do so
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage care services and fiscal accountability

Is there a cost?

Some Home Health services are provided free of charge while others include a cost based on your after tax income. Visit the Costs page in the Home Health section of this site to learn more.
