Autism

There is no known single cause for autism. It is currently believed that there is a genetic basis, although researchers are investigating a number of theories, including the link between heredity, genetics and medical problems.

ASD is a life-long condition. However, children with ASD can learn and function productively and show gains with appropriate education and intervention.
