The pandemic H1N1 vaccine is now available through doctors’ offices, walk-in clinics and community H1N1 clinics in Fraser Health for everyone who wishes to receive it.

Non-adjuvanted vaccine is now available for pregnant women through maternity clinics, public H1N1 clinics and doctors’ offices that see obstetrical patients. Adjuvants are compounds that boost the immune system’s response to vaccine, allowing smaller doses to be used per person.

The line for flu clinics may be cut off before closing time to ensure that everyone in line can be vaccinated .A numbering system may beusedinbusier clinics which lets people know if theyhave arrived in time to be vaccinated.
