Provides physiotherapy services on an outpatient basis to individuals recovering from or managing the following conditions: joint repair, post-surgical hip fractures, systemic disease or multi-joint arthritis, respiratory difficulties, skin conditions requiring ultraviolet light, lymphoedema and fractures with complications.

Surrey Memorial Hospital's physiotherapy department provides services for the following areas: post-operative orthopaedic joint issue, neurological disorders, amputees, lymphedema, breast health, and respiratory. Additional paediatric services include torticollis (neck issues), and nerve palsy lesions.

Referral

A physician referral is required. Clients must also meet specific admission criteria as determined by individual location. Referrals can be mailed or faxed to the applicable physiotherapy department.

Language (s) Offered

Primarily English, although translation services can be made available. Please contact the individual hospital location for further details. It is suggested to bring an interpreter if understanding English is difficult.
