How do these impact students and faculty instructors?

Students and faculty instructors are expected to apply the following practice changes to ensure that patients continue to receive quality care:

  • With the new trace element solution, patients will no longer need to have an additional 2 mg zinc added to their PN prescription.
  • Consult with your patient care team to determine whether patients need an adjustment to their PN orders.
