Learn about ‘Our Shared Commitments’ pledge.

What's happening?

‘Our Shared Commitments’ is a pledge created by Fraser Health employees and patients. Our employees, doctors, patients, clients, residents, families, and caregivers commit to each other to create a positive care environment that is centred on our patients and their families. These commitments are at the core of our relationships, and guide all of our interactions.

Why is this important?

Fraser Health considers the patient and provider experience in all parts of the health system. Our goal is to provide quality care that is sensitive and responsive to patient needs, preferences, and beliefs.

How Will This Impact Students and Faculty Instructors?

Our team encourages you to think about how you apply these Shared Commitments in your role at Fraser Health, and what you can do to work towards fulfilling these Commitments.

Students and faculty instructors who are completing student placements in Fraser Health are expected to apply any necessary changes in their practice to ensure that patients, clients, and residents continue to receive safe and quality care. Students and faculty instructors can access more resources on these Shared Commitments via FH Pulse when they are on Fraser Health sites.
