Langley Urgent and Primary Care Centre

The permanent location for the Langley Urgent and Primary Care Centre opened in May 2025, providing people in the Langley area with increased access to team-based, comprehensive primary care.

The centre serves two purposes. The first is to provide urgent primary care services to people living in the community who need to see a health care provider within 12 to 24 hours but do not require an emergency department. The second purpose is to help attach residents to regular full-service primary care providers in the community for their long-term planned primary care.

Integrated health care in Langley

The Langley Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) is co-located with the new Langley Medical Imaging Facility, which provides diagnostic services, such as X-rays and computed tomography (CT) scans. The Langley Medical Imaging Facility operates independently from the care provided by the UPCC.

General radiography services are available on a walk-in basis, with no appointment needed. However, patients in need of a CT scan must book an appointment. Residents in the community, including patients of the UPCC, must first obtain a referral and requisition form from their primary health care provider.

This co-located model enhances service delivery by improving access to timely, coordinated services and supports the community in achieving better health outcomes through streamlined, patient-centred care.
