Glenwood Seniors Community offers a variety of resident-centered programs that also includes Respite Care and an Adult day care program. Resident enjoy unobstructed views of the surrounding Mountains.

Glenwood Seniors Community provides our residents with access to exceptional nursing and personal care, with a focus on the individual needs and preferences of each resident. If you or your loved one has complex physical, cognitive or emotional needs, our dedicated staff are here to help.
Glenwood Seniors Community has 37 long term care beds (29 publicly subsidized). All rooms are single occupancy rooms.

Room features and personalization | Rooms include hospital-type bed, dresser, bedside table, lamp and comfortable chair. All rooms have telephone and cable hook-ups; service can be arranged by family members. Residents may also bring personal belongings to decorate the rooms |
Accessibility | We use our own wheelchair accessible bus for outings and planned activities. Parking and electrical outlets available for scooters. Fully wheelchair accessible. |
Security | Glenwood Seniors community is a key padded facility. We have wander guard bracelets for those who residents that exit seek. We have a behavioral Transition unit for resident whose behaviors may put them at risk due to lack of safety awareness or insight. Common area and exterior video monitoring. In suite emergency call systems. 24 hour nursing. |

Social and recreation programs | At Glenwood Seniors Community our residents enjoy many activities such as birthday parties, therapeutic music programs, exercise programs, sensory stimulation games and much, much more. We have inviting lounge and patio areas for your personal enjoyment. |
Spiritual program | On-site spiritual programs provided as per the monthly calendar. Supported by the community churches. |
Pets | Supervised, leashed pets are welcome to visit. Pet visitation program onsite. |
Medical assistance in dying | Not at this time and is under review. |

- New clients can contact our Home Health Service Line at 1-855-412-2121 (open seven days a week, 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; on statutory holidays between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).

Referral by case manager at a Home and Community Care office is required. To access service call the Home Health Service Line for more information; do not contact the care home directly.
Fees
There is a monthly accommodation fee; additional fees may apply for incidental services.
