Residents enjoy their private room with a two-piece ensuite in a safe and secure neighbourhood. Each Neighborhood has a bright and spacious dining/lounge area. We provide a home-like environment with a balance of safety and security. Residents and family input when planning care is encouraged.

Various cuisines are available to accommodate our multicultural community.

There are 55 long-term care beds at Suncrest Retirement Community. 26 beds are publicly subsidized. There are 53 single occupancy rooms and 1 double occupancy room.


Room features and personalization

Each room is furnished with an adjustable Hospital Bed to provide back and leg comfort, wardrobe, dresser, night stand. All linens included. Telephone and TV outlet located in each room.
Residents are encouraged to bring a comfortable chair, TV, radio, favorite pictures, comforter, quilt and memorable and comforting items.
All areas are wheelchair accessible. 
Security For the Residents safety, neighbourhood doors and stairwells are equipped with keypads. Exterior doors and elevators require a code. Video surveillance cameras are located in most common areas.
Smoking Smoking is not permitted on premises.
Location information  Suncrest is conveniently located 2 blocks from Peninsula Village Mall. Bus stops are on King George Blvd just steps from the front door.
Additional site features Suncrest is a Campus of Care offering Independent Living/Assisted Living and Complex Care. Various outdoor patios and green spaces are located in and around the Centre.
Parking and transportation Free secure parking.


Social and recreation programs 
Residents enjoy a comprehensive Social and Recreational Program including music therapy, art classes, and fitness.

Pets Currently not encouraged.
Medical assistance in dying On-site assessment and on-site provision are available.

Additional services

Hairdressing  Hairdressing salon on site. Services by hairdresser for a fee.
Foot and nail care Footcare nurse – visits every 5-6 weeks. Services are provided for a fee.
Additional services
Dental Hygienist – every 6 months or as needed. Mobile dentist visits sites (for a fee)

Optometrist annually (BC medical)

Hearing tests and hearing aid cleaning monthly with no fee.
