The Residence at Morgan Heights provides a welcoming home-like atmosphere for seniors requiring access to 24 hour nursing support.
We offer eight unique neighbourhoods where residents dine, relax, socialize and participate in activities.
A caring team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses & Registered Care Aides work together to meet the health & wellness needs of the residents.
Our two floors of care are secure and the residents have access to additional lounges, balconies & patios where they can walk, visit or relax.
Morgan Heights has 116 long term care beds. Ninety (90) beds are publicly subsidized. There are 108 single occupancy and four double occupancy rooms.
Features
Room features and personalization | We provide a hospital bed, a bedside table & an armoire for clothing. Curtains, blinds, sheets & towels are also provided. The rooms have high ceilings & large windows. There are call bells by the bed & toilet. We encourage residents & families to bring a comfy chair, lamps, favourite pictures and small items to make the room cozy & inviting. |

Security | Secure floors and neighbourhoods with swipe card access technology. A wander guard system and security monitoring in public areas. |

Location information | We are in south Surrey, beside a park & natural habitat, steps away from two schools & close to all amenities. |
Additional site features | Residents have access to two large patios and a number of balconies. |
Parking and transportation | We have short-term parking by the front door and underground parking. We are close to public transport on 160th. |

Social and recreation programs | Daily recreational & therapeutic programs such as intergenerational programs, java club, horticultural therapy, exercise programs, games, one to one visits, outings and live entertainment. Access to physiotherapist & occupational therapist. Music therapy is provided by an independent contractor. (Fee for service.) |
Spiritual program | Non-denominational services once a week. |
Pets | Visiting pets are welcome and a copy of rabies shots is requested to keep on file. |
Medical assistance in dying | On-site assessment and on-site provision available. |

- New clients can contact our Home Health Service Line at 1-855-412-2121 (open seven days a week, 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; on statutory holidays between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).

Referral by case manager at a Home and Community Care office is required. To access service call the Home Health Service Line for more information; do not contact the care home directly.
