Baillie House is a five-neighbourhood long term care home located in Maple Ridge.
Each neighbourhood has a great room and resident kitchenette. Residents can access the outdoors from the neighbourhood balcony and ground-floor patio.
Our team of health care professionals provides care to the residents living in Baillie House. We maintain the physical, psychological, cognitive, social and spiritual well-being of each resident.

Baillie House has 148 publicly subsidized long term care beds. There are 116 single occupancy and 16 double occupancy rooms.

Includes a bed, armoire, chair, and bedside table. Recreational programs and bus for outings available Residents may bring a 42-inch TV, radio, pictures and plants of their own. |
Accessibility |
Cafeteria located in acute care. Baillie House café provides a recreational space for residents to socialize with visitors. Family kitchen available for use. Most room have ceiling lifts that extend into the bathrooms. Inner courtyard and patios available for outdoor access. |
Security |
Ridge Meadows Hospital provides 24/7 security. Key-padded doors and elevators on 2nd and 3rd floor neighborhoods. Real time camera monitoring (not recorded – visible only to nursing staff) of hallways in all nursing stations. |
Smoking | Smoke free environment to the greatest extent possible. |
Location information |
Located in suburban Maple Ridge. Limited access to transit and shopping. Private liquor store directly adjacent to building with convenience store across as the main street with a is a major thoroughfare. |

Programs
Social and recreation programs | Recreation team along with volunteers provides group activities such as bingo, sing-alongs, card games, special meals and musical entertainment. Inter-generational program with a local daycare provides connection with youth. Gentle fit group programs. |
Spiritual program | Spiritual health practitioner available upon request and leads a meaning makers group chat. |
Pets | Family pets with current vaccinations may visit on a leash. A pet visitation program is also available |
Medical assistance in dying | On-site assessment and on-site provision available. |

Referral
Referral by case manager at a Home and Community Care office is required. To access service call the Home Health Service Line for more information; do not contact the care home directly.
Fees
There is a monthly accommodation fee; additional fees may apply for incidental services.
