Belvedere Care Centre is a multi-storey long term home
Operating at this location since 2001, Belvedere Care Centre is proud to have a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to person-centred care for seniors.
Physician services are available on site.
Belvedere Care Centre has 148 long term care beds. Fifty-six (56) beds are publicly subsidized. There are 130 single occupancy and 9 double occupancy rooms.
Features
Room features and personalization | Each room contains a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table. Linens are supplied. Residents are encouraged to personalize their room while maintaining walking/wheelchair space. |
Accessibility | Wheelchair accessible washrooms with full turning radius. |
Security | All elevators, stairwells, and exit doors are secured with coded keypads. |
Smoking | One (1) outdoor smoking gazebo is available for our smoking residents. |
Location information | One kilometre (1) from a shopping mall. |
Additional site features | Mild-cognitive impairment separated from moderate to severe dementia. |
Parking and transportation | Some surface parking in front of the building. Close to transit (about 1.5 blocks). |
Programs
Social and recreation programs | Recreation programs include daily exercises, walkabouts, and games. A music therapist visits weekly to provide both small and large group therapy. Outside entertainers visit frequently to celebrate special occasions and birthdays. |
Spiritual programs | A pastor is on-site every week to visit residents who request a visit. Roman Catholic mass is provided every Friday afternoon. |
Pets | Pets on leash may visit. Resident on-site pets are not permitted. |
Medical assistance in dying | Requests are accommodated and provision on-site is accepted. |
Additional services
Hairdressing | Hair salon is open two (2) days per week and offered more frequently for festive celebrations. Fee for service. |
Foot and nail care | A foot care nurse visits every 6-7 weeks on a fee for service basis. Fingernails are trimmed be care staff. |
Additional services | Dental hygienist: clean teeth and refer to mobile dentist who attends Belvedere Care Centre. Fee for service. Optometry and hearing Clinics provided for free. |

Well-lighted parking light. Near to public transportation.

- New clients can contact our Home Health Service Line at 1-855-412-2121 (open seven days a week, 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; on statutory holidays between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).

Referral
Referral by case manager at a Home and Community Care office is required. To access service call the Home Health Service Line for more information; do not contact the care home directly.
Fees
There is a monthly accommodation fee; additional fees may apply for incidental services.
