Cedar Hill, Maple Hill, Marwood and Rosewood are the residences located on the same site at Langley Memorial Hospital.

The four long term care facilities at Langley Memorial Hospital: Cedar Hill, Maple Hill, Marrwood and Rosewood have a total of  220 beds with 200 publicly subsidized long term care beds, 20 convalescent beds and 54 single occupancy rooms, 33 double occupancy rooms and 25 multiple occupancy rooms. There are 50 beds at Cedar Hill. Rooms are both single and double occupancy. 

Features

Room features and personalization Rooms feature a bed, built-in dresser, small closet and over-bed table.

Residents are encouraged to bring in their own television and wall mount, radio, laptop, cellphone and pictures. Laundry services are available.
Accessibility The residence is a one level. building All areas are wheelchair accessible. Washrooms are equipped with lifts and equipment.
Security Equipped with a keypadded main door and video monitoring. A hospital security team is on site.
Smoking Smoking is not permitted.
Location information  The residence is near a shopping centre, restaurants, recreation centre, pub and public transportation.
Additional site features There is a large, bright dining area with offering food service delivery. A communal phone is available.
Parking and transportation Each resident receives two complimentary parking passes. Public transportation is nearby.

Programs

Social and recreation programs  Cedar Hill offers a variety of individual and group programs and events with a focus is on the resident’s abilities and expressed desires. Monthly activity calendars show upcoming events and activities. Special bus trips and events are available. A small fee may apply.
Spiritual program An on-site spiritual health coordinator is available as needed. A variety of inclusive religious services are offered through partnerships with community faith groups. Trained spiritual care volunteers are also available to listen or offer support with devotional practices.
Pets Healthy, immunized, well-behaved pets on leash and supervised by their owners are welcome to visit at all times. Animals are not permitted in kitchen or dining areas.

Additional services

Hairdressing  An on-site hairdresser is available weekly by appointment. Services are available for a fee.
Foot and nail care Family members may arrange for on-site foot care services for a fee.
Additional services Volunteers support residents by participating in the snack shop, bingo, one-to-one visits, pet visits and card games.

Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Open visiting hours but please be considerate of other patients who may need rest.
