Fleetwood Place is a long term care home that provides nursing care in a comfortable and secure environment for those with complex care needs.

Fleetwood Place Care Facility is owned and managed by operators who have been in long term care for 40 years.

Fleetwood Place has 108 long term care beds (95 publicly subsidized). There are 100 single occupancy and four double occupancy rooms.


Room features and personalization Each room is furnished with an electronically controlled reclining bed, arm chair, bedside table, drawer, built-in closet and room darkening curtains. The room also has access to a private ensuite consisting of a washbasin and toilet.

Residents may bring a radio, TV, personal chair and pictures. Additional furniture items must be approved and not compromise safety of the resident or staff. Lamps with halogen bulbs and rocking chairs are not permitted.
Accessibility The building is wheelchair accessible as are all resident washrooms. There are two elevators that provide access to the second floor.
Security To protect our residents, we utilize a nurse call paging system, which incorporates keypad doors and a Wanderguard system. There is also a camera security system to monitor public areas and entrances.
Smoking Our facility is non-smoking.
Location information  We are situated in the Fleetwood area (Fraser Highway and 160th) of Surrey. We are in close proximity to Fleetwood Community Centre and the Fleetwood business district. Amongst the many retail businesses that can be found in this area include, a supermarket, a pharmacy, restaurants, banks and medical offices.
Additional site features Building has a secured central courtyard that provides a gentle walking loop for our residents. There are two glass-enclosed patios on the second floor that can be accessed by residents on the second floor.

We also have a Family room that families can reserve for celebrations. 

There is also a laundry room for families to use.
Parking and transportation We have on-site parking and plenty of street parking. The facility also has a bus that is used for shopping and dining outings or for sightseeing. 


Social and recreation programs  Recreation programs at Fleetwood Place help restore, maintain and/or improve resident’s physical, emotional, social and psychological well-being.

Weekly activities include, Pub night, Bingo, Sing- a-long, Trivia, Movies and Birthday celebrations.

There is also a Tuck shop.
Spiritual program Our spiritual care program is based on Christianity but non-denominational to meet spiritual needs of our residents and to provide support to families. There are Sunday Services and the bible study group meets weekly. One to one meetings with the pastor can be arranged.
Pets We welcome pet visits. All dogs must be on a leash.
Medical assistance in dying Not available.

Additional services

Hairdressing  Spacious In-house hair salon provides haircuts, shampoos or permanents for a minimal charge.
Foot and nail care Foot and nail care are also provided for a minimal charge.
Additional services We also provide a Strength and Wellness program for residents where the aim is to rejuvenate the body with regular physical exercises. The goal is to improve overall health and wellness of the individual.

A physiotherapist assesses and devises individualized programs which are then implemented by a rehabilitation aide. The programs include strength training, range of motion exercises, endurance work, balance and mobility exercises.

There is a fitness area which is furnished with a range of exercise equipment.
