Suncreek Village is an accredited complex care home with a capacity for 120 residents within seven unique households of only 18 residents. Each resident will have their own private bedroom and large bathroom.
Suncreek Village provides 24-hour professional nursing services to people who are no longer able to stay at home safely. Each of our seven neighborhood’s has its own living room with a fireplace, dining room, kitchenette, spa, laundry, and activity area. There is access to courtyards, balconies and gardens from all neighborhoods.
We have a very bright and home-like environment. There are large windows allowing natural light into the resident rooms, living room, dining room and common areas.
Of the 120 beds at the home, 106 are publicly subsidized long term care beds. There are 120 single occupancy rooms.
Features
Room features and personalization | All rooms are private and have an ensuite bathroom. Each room has a large window for natural light and is equipped with a bed side table, armoire, four drawer chest,and ceiling lift track if needed. Residents are welcome to bring in a favourite chair and bed side table (recliners will need to be standard size). Residents are encouraged to bring in personal items for their locked memory box in the entrance of each room, and photos for their room. |

Security | Suncreek Village uses a prox card system for employees and visitors. Main doors are secured with a keypad and there is video monitoring for security. |

Social and recreation programs | Suncreek Village boasts an energetic and compassionate recreation team committed to creating a resident and family-centered home. Our dedicated team delivers a large variety of activities and programs to help residents improve their psychosocial, physical, spiritual, health and quality of life. |
Spiritual program | We recognize the therapeutic benefits of providing spiritual-based programs to support residents’ individual needs. Through weekly implementation of programs such as Christian and Catholic church services, mass, Sikh prayer and related gatherings, residents are encouraged to maintain their spirituality throughout their journey without limitation. |
Pets | We welcome visiting pets and ask owners to ensure they are on a leash. |

Referral
Referral by case manager at a Home and Community Care office is required. To access service call the Home Health Service Line for more information; do not contact the care home directly.
