Between The Harrison and Harrison West there are 193 large, bright, private rooms with private bathrooms offering a modern and dignified setting.
Elim’s caring staff are available 24 hours a day and apply a “person centered approach” to the residents ‘day. They assist in helping to live meaningful and full lives to the best of their ability; offering the highest quality of care in a homelike setting.

The Harrison and Harrison West buildings are modern, state of the art facilities featuring warm, tasteful finishing, furnishings, secured garden courtyards and a professionally designed therapeutic gardens.
The Harrison has 193 long term care beds. One hundred and seventy-five (175) beds are publicly subsidized. There are 181 single occupancy and six double occupancy rooms.
|Room features and personalization||Rooms are spacious and include hospital bed, nightstand, wardrobe and upright dresser. All linens and towels are supplied. Telephone and cable are available for a fee.
Residents are encouraged to bring in pictures and other mementos to fill the memory boxes outside of their room. Pictures can be hung with the assistance of staff. TV and comfortable recliner chair can also be brought in.
|Accessibility||All indoor areas are wheelchair accessible as well as outdoor paths and secured gardens.|
|Security||All neighborhood have key pads at their entrance. There is video monitoring in common areas and by exits to the outside.|
|Smoking||Smoking is not allowed in the buildings only permitted in the designated Smoking Area that is approximately 200 feet away from the entrance of The Harrison. A resident must be independently able to get to and from the Smoking Area.|
|Location information||The Harrison is located in the Fleetwood area of Surrey and is close to transit. Grocery stores, restaurants and other shops are best accessible by car or bus as they are a 15-20 minute walk away.|
|Additional site features||This campus of care offers housing options for independent living, assisted living and long term care. There is a chapel on-site for church services, koi pond, bistro, putting green, community gazebo and scenic walking paths that are wheelchair accessible.|
|Parking and transportation||Parking is free and available throughout the campus.|
|Social and recreation programs||The Wellness Model emphasizes the importance of spiritual, physical, social, recreational programing for the overall wellbeing of the residents. A variety of therapies are available such as Music Therapy, Fitness, Pet Therapy, Men’s Group and Java Club to name a few. Bus outings to events and points of interest take place on a regular basis.|
|Spiritual program||Sunday services, bible studies, Hymn Sings, Catholic Mass and one-to-one spiritual counselling are provided by our Pastors and pastoral volunteers.|
|Pets||Pet Therapist comes to visit residents on a regular basis. Pets may come to visit as long as trained and on leash.|
|Medical assistance in dying||On-site assessment available. MAiD will not be performed onsite, but residents with interest in MAiD are respected and are not impeded in their request for information.|
|Hairdressing||On site hairdresser services are provided 3 days a week at competitive prices.|
|Foot and nail care||Services from the Foot Care Nurse are provided on every 6-8 weeks for a fee.|
|Additional services||Onsite Pharmacy, Dental Hygienist, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehab Assistance, Chair Massage, Hearing Aide Servicing are available for a fee.|

Referral by case manager at a Home and Community Care office is required. To access service call the Home Health Service Line for more information; do not contact the care home directly.
There is a monthly accommodation fee; additional fees may apply for incidental services.
