In response to COVID-19, only essential respite services will be provided effective March 20, 2020. Existing bookings for overnight respite will be reviewed for the upcoming 30 days and will be cancelled if there is no imminent risk for the client or caregiver. Please direct questions to your Home Health clinician or Home Health Service line.

To receive Home Health services you must:
- Be a resident of British Columbia
- Be a Canadian citizen or have permanent resident status (Landed immigrant or on a Minister’s permit approved by the Ministry of Health Services)
If you have already activated overnight respite services through your Home Health care provider you may view availabilities and request bookings through our online booking system BookABreak.
Respite services costs are based on an annual set rate. Learn about the current rate through your Home Health care provider. There might be added costs for some medications and services.
