Maplewood House is a single-storey residence which has 78 ensuite rooms, 76 of which are funded by Fraser Health, 23 of these rooms are designated as a Behavioural Support Transition Neighbourhood.
The grounds have walking paths and raised gardens for our residents’ enjoyment.

Maplewood House has 78 long term care beds. Seventy-six rooms are publicly subsidized. All rooms are single occupancy rooms.
|Room features and personalization||Each room features a safe bed, a locking cupboard and private washroom with room for a wheelchair. All towels and linens are provided. Laundry is done on-site.
Residents are encouraged to bring in personal items to decorate their room. This may include, telephone and cable arranged through Shaw. Rooms will be assessed to ensure the safety of the resident.

|Smoking||For those who have been assessed as an independent and safe smoker, there is an outdoor space allocated.|

|Additional site features||Included in Maplewood House is a Behavioural Support Transition Neighbourhood. This neighbourhood focuses on caring for residents with responsive behaviours.
Maplewood House also offers a Day Program for Older Adults. The program is a supportive therapeutic safe group environment for persons who are living at home.
|Parking and transportation||Parking is available on site. Public transportation is easily accessible.|
|Social and recreation programs||A creative and passionate therapeutic team offers programs and supports that meet social, physical, cognitive, emotional and spiritual needs of the residents and families.|
|Spiritual program||A creative and passionate therapeutic team offers programs and supports that meet social, physical, cognitive, emotional and spiritual needs of the residents and families.|
|Pets||Pet Therapy is available once per week as well as at special events. Family members are encouraged to bring in their pets.|
|Medical assistance in dying||On-site assessment and on-site provision available. Maplewood Care Society is committed to supporting our residents and families.|
|Hairdressing||An on-site hair salon provides hairdressing services twice per week for a fee.|
|Foot and nail care||A Foot Care Nurse visits on a regular basis for a fee. Other Podiatry services are arranged on a referral basis.|
|Additional services||Maplewood House has partnerships with the following:
- Silver Valet Dental Care, providing a mobile dental service including a dental hygienist and dentist;
- LifeLabs providing lab service twice per week and
- Ophthalmology is available on a referral basis.
These services are available for a fee.

Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Clients must meet Home and Community Care requirements and criteria for admission. A health care needs assessment will be completed to confirm eligibility. See the eligibility requirements for home and community care section of our website.
Referral by case manager at a Home and Community Care office is required. To access service call the Home Health Service Line for more information; do not contact the care home directly.
There is a monthly accommodation fee; additional fees may apply for incidental services.
