Dania Home is a 2 storey long term care home with 102 beds, 6 of which provide respite accommodation.
Dania Home aims to provide quality housing and long term health care for seniors in our community, reflecting our Danish history.

Dania Home focuses on quality of care and services and their team devotes time and resources to continually learn how to improve and provide the best possible care and service to residents.
There are 102 publicly subsidized long term care beds at Dania Home. All rooms are single occupancy rooms.

Programs
Social and recreation programs | Recreation and activity programming include community outings, fitness, current events, crafts, music and spiritual events. |
Spiritual program | Dania Home is dedicated to providing opportunities for spiritual expression for our diverse cultural and ethnic resident population. There are a variety of religious services and visits. |
Pets | We have a visiting pet program but currently cannot accommodate residents’ pets. |
Medical assistance in dying | On-site assessment available. |
Additional services
Hairdressing | A hairdresser/barber salon is located on our 2nd floor. Services are offered Mondays and Thursday by appointment and are provided for a fee. |
Foot and nail care | Foot care services (file and trimming nails and moisturizing) are provided for a fee. |
Additional services | Burnaby Public Library provides delivery services for residents. Therapeutic Garden on site for residents and families to enjoy. The garden is accessible to all and can accommodate walkers and wheelchairs. |

- New clients can contact our Home Health Service Line at 1-855-412-2121 (open seven days a week, 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; on statutory holidays between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).
- Current clients should contact your Home Health office.

Referral
Referral by case manager at a Home and Community Care office is required. To access service call the Home Health Service Line for more information; do not contact the care home directly.
Fees
There is a monthly accommodation fee; additional fees may apply for incidental services.
