New Vista Society is a long term care home with a mission to enrich the lives of residents, families and the community by providing care, support and housing.
We value diversity in staff, residents and culture and offer a selection of food menus with alternative choices.
New Vista has 236 publicly subsidized long term care beds and 236 single occupancy rooms.
Features
Room features and personalization | Each room features a bed, dresser with one locked drawer, wardrobe, chair and a toilet with a sink. Residents are encouraged to bring a television, small pictures and personal items. |
Accessibility | All rooms and areas are wheelchair accessible. |
Security | New Vista is fitted with WanderGuard, alarmed doors and video monitoring for security. |
Smoking | Smoking amenities are not available on site. |
Location information | New Vista is near a number of bus routes that can take residents to several Skytrain stations. |
Additional site features | New Vista offers independent living and a day program for adults. |
Parking and transportation | Parking is available on site. There is also ample street parking. The home is located in close proximity to Edmonds Skytrain station. |

Social and recreation programs | There are a variety of activities and programs offered at New Vista including a music therapy program, strength training, reading group, wisdom circle, table bowling, choir and Happy Hour. |
Spiritual program | Church services of different denominations are available to meet the spiritual needs of the residents and families. |
Pets | One cat, three birds and several aquariums are located on site. Visits from pets are encouraged. |
Medical assistance in dying | On-site assessment and on-site provision available. |

Hairdressing | Hairdressing services are available for a fee. |
Foot and nail care | Foot and nail care is available for a fee. |

- New clients can contact our Home Health Service Line at 1-855-412-2121 (open seven days a week, 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; on statutory holidays between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).
- Current clients should contact your Home Health office.

Referral
Referral by case manager at a Home and Community Care office is required. To access service call the Home Health Service Line for more information; do not contact the care home directly.
Fees
There is a monthly accommodation fee; additional fees may apply for incidental services.
