Provides an outpatient clinic for adults newly diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Focus of treatment is on active self-management during three to four sessions per year, up to a maximum of two years, working with an occupational and physical therapist.

Hours of operation
Open weekdays Monday to Friday, with some evening and Saturday appointments available.
Eligibility
Adults aged 18 and over diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis within one year, living in the Fraser Health Authority region; and not under care of the Yard clinic or related to an open WCB or ICBC case. Individual must have sufficient attention, cognition, and insight to set self-management goals.
Referral
Rheumatologist referral accepted only; redirects from other arthritis centres accepted if the original referral is from rheumatology.
Fees
No fee for therapist services; fees may apply for specialized splints and or adaptive equipment.
