Ultrasound services are available by appointment at Burnaby Hospital.
A requisition from a health care provider is required to receive an ultrasound. Your health care provider will contact you with your ultrasound appointment date, time, and location. Appointments are scheduled based on the urgency and type of scan ordered.

Ultrasound services are in the Medical Imaging department on the third floor in the Support Facilities Building. Take the elevators to the third floor and look for Medical Imaging Registration.
Parking and Transportation
Designated patient and visitor parking is available at Parkade Level P2 and Emergency Parking Lot.

Eligibility
Ultrasound does not use radiation. It is generally considered safe for people of all ages, including pregnant women and developing babies.
