All Nations Sacred Space – xaʔɬəmətelə
xaʔɬəmətelə is a dedicated sacred space at Chénchenstway for cultural and spiritual use by residents and families.
The sacred space was gifted an Indigenous name, xaʔɬəmətelə, which means “caring / watching over place” in hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ – the language of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) Peoples.
