CT scans are available by appointment at Royal Columbian Hospital.
A requisition from a health care provider is required to receive a CT scan. Your health care provider will contact you with your appointment date, time and location. Appointments are scheduled based on the urgency and type of scan ordered.

CT scans are located on the main floor of the Columbia Tower (Blue Zone). From the main foyer of the Health Care Centre (HCC), follow the blue line on the floor to Medical Imaging.

Monday to Friday: 7:15 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Weekends and Statutory Holidays: 7:15 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Eligibility
Let your referring health care provider, or our staff know if there is any possibility that you are pregnant. Precautions are taken to limit radiation exposure to the fetus. Lead shielding is no longer needed for today’s CT scanners.
