Offers support and help for adults with developmental disabilities requiring access to health services.

Health Services for Community Living provides nursing, rehabilitative consultation, nutritional and dental support to adults with developmental disabilities. Services are designed to provide non-emergency health services that augment existing community resources.

The professionals of the Health Services for Community Living program work in partnership with Community Living British Columbia to support British Columbians with developmental disabilities.

This program is one of the many Home Health services we offer. 

Health Services for Community Living provides:

  • Access to a range of community health services including rehabilitation and nursing services
  • Care planning, including referrals to other health care providers
  • Education for you and your caregivers
  • Advocacy to help you access specialist care

Access

Eligibility

Your Home Health care provider may recommend programs or you may be able to apply directly for access. Learn more about accessing Home Health services.

Referral

Referrals to the program are made by contacting our central Home Health Service Line, 1-855-412-2121 (open 7 days a week, 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; statutory holidays between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m).

Fees

Some Home Health services are provided free of charge while others include a cost based on your after tax income. Learn more about accessing Home and Community Care services.
