Community care facilities licensing supports the delivery of quality care in licensed adult and childcare facilities by ensuring the Community Care and Assisted Living Act and associated regulations are met within the Fraser Health area.

- assessment of licensees
- investigation of serious incidents, abuse, complaints and regulation contraventions
- investigation of facilities operating without a Community Care Facility license
- responding to complaints and concerns from the public
