The Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic provides medical care to women who are experiencing complications in early pregnancy, between six weeks and 12 weeks +six days gestational age.

The clinic is staffed by nurses and gynecologists and provides urgent gynecologic consultation for complications such as bleeding and cramping in early pregnancy.

Management of complications and miscarriage may include ultrasound in a coordinated plan care. 

The clinic will provide resources and referrals for grief counselling and support. 

Excluded patients: Women with heavy bleeding, severe abdominal pain, or suspected/confirmed ectopic pregnancy.
