Advance Program to enable automation, real-time information access and paperless records

The Advance Program is transforming the way we deliver health care to help improve the quality of care we deliver and health outcomes for our patients. The Advance program is a clinical transformation, enabled by the modernization of our core clinical information system, to MEDITECH® Expanse.

Eagle Ridge Hospital will be the first site to go-live with Advance on April 15, 2023. Work is underway to determine launch dates for the remaining sites.

The significant demands on our staff and medical staff during the past few years have highlighted the need for us to find ways to work differently to create greater capacity in our health care system.

One of those ways is to leverage advanced technology to support our staff and medical staff to care for patients. By reimagining clinical workflows, the Advance program is expected to drive greater automation of manual processes; ensure real-time information access at patient point-of-care to support rapid and efficient decision-making; limit document "chasing," reduce the risk of errors, and enable care providers to spend more time with patients.
