Dermot Kelly leads Fraser Health, one of Canada’s largest and most diverse health systems.
In partnership with the Fraser Health Board and Executive Team, he oversees care for more than two million people and 48,000 staff and medical professionals, with a focus on patient-centred care, strong partnerships, and cultural safety.
Dermot’s vision is to deliver equitable, accountable, and culturally safe care in true partnership with patients, Indigenous communities, and frontline teams. His priorities include supporting staff and medical staff, enhancing the quality and experience of care, using resources wisely to expand access while protecting essential services, and advancing Indigenous health and reconciliation.
With over 20 years in senior leadership roles at Fraser Health, Vancouver Coastal Health, and Island Health, Dermot brings deep experience in clinical operations, quality, and system innovation.
