Good COVID sense is good flu sense, too.
Protect yourself and your loved ones against influenza (flu) and COVID-19 by getting your vaccinations.
Get your flu shot.
The flu shot is free for everyone in B.C. six months and older. This year, you can book your appointment the same way you booked your COVID-19 vaccines.
Look for an email or text from the provincial Get Vaccinated system for your personalized booking link. Use that link to find a date, time and location that works for you.
You can also call your primary care provider and ask them if they are providing flu shots this year.
It’s safe to receive both flu and COVID-19 vaccines at the same time. This year, you can also get your free COVID-19 booster at the same appointment when you get your flu shot.
Haven’t received your booking link by SMS or email yet for your flu shot?
Call the Provincial call centre at 1-833-838-2323 and ask to book an appointment at a pharmacy near you. Please do not call your local pharmacy.
If you have not registered with the Get Vaccinated system, you may register here: getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca.
Get your COVID-19 booster.
Anyone five years and older can get their free COVID-19 booster dose.
As long as you are registered in the provincial Get Vaccinated system, you will receive a personalized booking invitation when it’s time to book your booster.
