Protect yourself and your loved ones against influenza (flu) and COVID-19 by getting immunized.
Get your flu vaccine.
The flu vaccine is free for everyone in B.C. six months and older. This year, you can book your appointment the same way you booked your COVID-19 vaccines.
Look for an email or text from the provincial Get Vaccinated system for your personalized booking link. Use that link to find a date, time and location that works for you.
You can also call your primary care provider and ask them if they are providing flu vaccines this year.
It’s safe to receive both flu and COVID-19 vaccines at the same time. This year, you can also get your updated COVID-19 vaccine at the same appointment when you get your flu vaccine.
Haven’t received your booking link by SMS or email yet for your flu vaccine?
Call the Provincial call centre at 1-833-838-2323 and ask to book an appointment at a pharmacy near you. Please do not call your local pharmacy.
If you have not registered with the Get Vaccinated system, you may register here: getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca.
Get your COVID-19 vaccine.
Anyone six months of age and older can receive their updated COVID-19 vaccine. Children under four years of age and individuals with certain immunocompromising conditions who have never received a COVID-19 vaccine before will be eligible for additional doses.
As long as you are registered in the provincial Get Vaccinated system, you will receive a personalized booking invitation when it’s time to book your vaccine.
