It can improve patient care and reduce the need for consultations and unnecessary diagnostic tests.
Who can use it?
It is available for all Fraser Health staff and physicians to use from their desktop computers or handheld devices.
UpToDate contains more than:
- 11,000 topics in 25 medical specialties
- 1,500 patient information topics
- 9,500 graded recommendations
- 6,000 unique drug entries
Add to this a robust collection of medical calculators and graphics, and UpToDate is a powerful tool to incorporate into your daily clinical practice.
How do I access UpToDate?
Simply click on the green U icon under tool favourites on the FHPulse homepage or visit the Research and Library pages on FHPulse. Once you’ve accessed UpToDate from a Fraser Health networked computer and have registered for a personal account, you can continue using UpToDate from your home computer or mobile device by logging in using the credentials you’ve created.
