This is a two-day online education session to learn the P.I.E.C.E.S.™ framework. P.I.E.C.E.S.™ supports Interdisciplinary teams to detect, assess and understand complex physical and cognitive/mental health needs and associated behavioural changes in the older person.

The P.I.E.C.E.S.™ (two-day) education program is designed for clinical leaders (e.g. directors of care, resident care coordinators, clinical nurse educators and front-line professional staff, e.g. registered nurses/registered psychiatric nurses, licensed practical nurses, social workers and other allied health professions). The participants are expected to share their knowledge and skills obtained through the P.I.E.C.E.S. program back at the care home.

  • Prior to attending educational sessions, you must obtain approval from your supervisor.
  • In order to receive a certificate, you must attend both days of the training. As the training is virtual you will receive an email a few days before the start date of the course with access information.
  • Please email Navdeep.Dhillon3@fraserhealth.ca your mailing address in order for us to send you the course material on time.
  • This course will be offered in a virtual format via Microsoft Teams. A separate calendar invite will be sent to all participants one to two days before the start of the course.
