High five your health care provider – March 9, 2018

I am writing to thank Dr. Gill in the Care Assessment and Treatment Zone at Surrey Memorial Hospital. We brought our daughter to the unit. Dr. Gill stands out with her professionalism and fantastic attitude to her patients. Please convey our regards to her with the following message: Please don't let cynicism ever affect your professionalism and terrific attitude.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Burnaby Hospital and all the employees I dealt with during my recent stay there. I had surgery a couple of months ago and was absolutely amazed at the care and kindness of the nurses, support staff and of course, my amazing doctor, Dr. Dunwoody. The staff was attentive, supportive and genuinely caring. From the moment I came in and dealt with Admitting to the time of my surgery, I was treated amazingly. I found the hospital to be exceptionally clean, easy to get around and very pleasant.

Dr. Dunwoody and the amazing nurse were, to say the least, awesome. He is so easy to deal with and did a fantastic job on my surgery and I am so grateful that it was him who did the surgery. I actually look forward to my follow up appointments due to the nature of the doctor and nurse. Keep up the great work, Burnaby Hospital.

Dr. Derek Gunning operated on my mom a while ago and I wanted to let him know that she is still going strong at 86 years of age. She speaks of Dr. Gunning often and is very appreciative that he performed heart surgery and saved her.
