This week's high fives go to our amazing people at Peace Arch Hospital and Surrey Memorial Hospital.
For Peace Arch Hospital
My husband and I feel so fortunate to have Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock.
I broke my hip at the end of August; Dr. McGuffin, the locum, put me back together on Sept. 1st and I was discharged Sept. 8th.
I would like to thank Roxanne and the great 2nd floor Surgical team who took care of me during my stay. It was so nice to be treated as a person and not just a body in a bed.
And also to thank the Physio team who got me mobile and ready for home.
A big box of virtual chocolates and a dozen red roses to all.
For Surrey Memorial Hospital
I would like to pass on my thanks and compliments to the staff of Unit C from my visit yesterday.
I arrived and was triaged promptly and sent to Unit C. The staff, from reception to the doctors were amazing and helpful. I was looked after with concern and gentleness. It took only four hours from start to finish and in that time I had blood tests, ECG, CT scan and a diagnosis. I have never seen such a smooth and effective team.
The lobby was filled with craziness and they still managed to give fantastic medical service.
Please pass on my compliments.
