It has been one year since my open-heart surgery. Words fail to show how grateful I am to the physios, surgeons, doctors and nurses who cared for me. I have always wanted to thank everyone in person, but don't know how to go about that. This may be the best I can do. I will never forget the care and professionalism of so many that care for me. If it wasn't for you, I would not be alive today.

I received exceptional care from Nurse Carly at Peace Arch Hospital in the Medical Unit. Her professionalism, compassion and attentiveness made a difficult time much easier. She kept me informed, made me feel heard and showed true dedication. Carly is a credit to her profession - Peace Arch Hospital is lucky to have her.

Thank you to the Surrey Memorial Hospital Family Birthing Unit Team. I unexpectedly had to deliver my baby at 37 weeks, which was a scary and emotional experience—but thanks to the care, professionalism and compassion of the entire team, it became a truly positive and empowering birth story. Every nurse, doctor and staff member made such a difference—not only in the outcome but in how I felt through it all. Your kindness, expertise and encouragement helped turn what could have been a stressful time into a beautiful and memorable experience.
