The trailer installation by Royal Columbian Hospital on Keary Street will be installed on October 11, 2025.

What’s happening?

  • We will be installing a trailer that will be used during hospital renovations.
  • A crane will lift and install the trailer on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
  • There will be single lane alternating traffic on Keary Street during this work.
  • Clearing and leveling of the area to create a stable base for the trailer will begin the day before.
  • The trailer will be on site until next summer.

When is this happening?

October 11, 2025 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Keary Street between East Columbia Street and Brunette Avenue in area indicated in photo above.
Installation of trailer and temporary fencing.

Impacts to you

  • Expect delays on Keary Street during the specified date and time.
  • Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic and pedestrians. Please obey instructions.
  • The sidewalk will be shut down and flaggers will direct pedestrians around the work zone.
  • Access to the hospital parkade will remain open.
  • No picnic tables or trees will be removed. Landscape restoration will take place after the trailer installation.
