For Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre
A huge thank you to the fourth floor Surgical Day Care Team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre. I had surgery and every person I interacted with – from reception to nurses, doctors and volunteers – met me with such professionalism, empathy and kindness. I was quite terrified and everyone was absolutely amazing. I am so grateful for your excellent care.
For Burnaby Hospital
Thank you to Mavis, the volunteer in the Burnaby Hospital Emergency Department, for making my nine-year-old daughter feel comfortable during our visit. We are grateful as well to Nurse Megan in Zone 2, Electrocardiogram (ECG) Technologist Megan, Dr. Chow and all the Zone 2 staff. Your hard work, compassion and dedication do not go unnoticed.
For Langley Memorial Hospital
I would like to thank Nurse David for his great work and friendly demeanor toward me.
I was admitted to Langley Memorial Hospital for a heart condition and remained in the Emergency Department for observation for a couple of days. I am so impressed with how the staff work. I was a public servant for more than 45 years and have learned that working with people who have issues of any sort is very taxing on one's patience and civility.
All the staff who attended me were very professional and helpful but one nurse just went above and beyond. Nurse David provided me with answers to my questions. Mainly, “Is the doctor aware of me?” and, “When are they coming?” Nurse David personally reached out several times to keep me informed, which was kind since I hadn't even asked. I appreciated the attention and care.
The food was great and I was well taken care of. Please pass along my thank you to the staff in the Emergency Department, especially to Nurse David for his care. Thank you again.
For Peace Arch Hospital
Hi, I was at Peace Arch Hospital. I want to give a huge thanks to all the nurses, and Doctors Chang and Vrecko, who treated me and looked after me. I don’t know the names of the nurses but two of them saw how much pain I was in and got me pain medication. One nurse noticed I was cold and got me a warm blanket. Another nurse kept checking for my reports. Thanks.
