The Maxxine Wright Community Health Centre is a comprehensive clinic that works with mothers to provide comprehensive health care, social and parenting supports for women impacted by substance use and/or violence/abuse.

Women do not need to have a child in their care to receive support if they have an ongoing relationship with the child. Services include:

  • Pre- and post-natal care
  • Opioid treatment
  • Primary health care for women and their children
  • Counselling
  • Immunizations
  • Preventive health interventions
  • Daily hot lunch program
  • Dental hygiene
  • Donations of clothing, household, food, and baby items
  • Assistance with housing, income assistance, forms

We provide services in partnership with Atira Women’s Resource Society and the Ministry for Children and Family Development. Learn more about services here.
