Ultrasound services are available by appointment at Chilliwack General Hospital.
A requisition from a health care provider is required to receive an ultrasound. Your health care provider will contact you with your ultrasound appointment date, time and location. Appointments are scheduled based on the urgency and type of scan ordered.

Ultrasound services are in the Medical Imaging department on the main floor. From the main entrance, walk past the elevators through the main lobby, turn right and enter the double doors on the right-hand side.

Eligibility
Ultrasound does not use radiation. It is generally considered safe for people of all ages, including pregnant women and developing babies.
Referral
Physician referral is required.
