Offers funding for eligible home support clients wishing more flexibility in managing their own services.

Choice in Supports for Independent Living (CSIL) is a self-managed model of care where people receive funds to hire and manage their own unregulated care providers. As an employer, responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising unregulated care providers. Further responsibilities include monthly reporting to Revenue Canada, WorkSafeBC and Fraser Health Contracts Department. To familiarize yourself with these responsibilities please go to the Spinal Cord Injury BC website and review the Choice In Supports for Independent Living online workbook.

This is one of the many Home Health services we offer.
