Service Delivery Excellence Award
- The Critical Incident Stress Management Team
For over two decades, this team has been a pillar of strength, supporting staff through their most challenging times.
- The Pet Therapy Team
In loving memory of volunteer Janet Funk, whose kindness touched countless lives. Alongside her husband Steve Stone and therapy dog Freya, Janet brought comfort and joy to patients, families and staff. Her legacy lives on through this award.
Best Collaboration Award
- The Regional Seasonal Readiness Working Group Team
Emergency planning powerhouses — their leadership and cross-sector collaboration have prepared Fraser Health for climate-related challenges with exceptional foresight.
- The Surrey Memorial Hospital General Internal Medicine Team
Through innovation and teamwork, this group has transformed patient flow and elevated medical education with their 24/7 clinician model.
Innovator Award
- The Health Services for Community Living Dental Hygienist Team
Trailblazers in inclusive oral health care, their pioneering use of Silver Diamine Fluoride is stopping tooth decay and setting a new national standard.
- The Royal Columbian Hospital Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) Cardiac Advanced Life Support Team
Recognized for their life-saving work in cardiac arrest care and clinician training.
Fraser Health Hero Award
- Lindsey Vukicevic
The heart of Surrey Memorial’s Emergency Department, Lindsey brings positivity and compassion to every interaction.
- Maria Carinha
A guiding light at Burnaby Hospital, Maria’s warmth and mentorship make her a Fraser Health hero to all who cross her path.
Lifetime Achievement Award
- Tina McLachlan
After 32 years in Medical Imaging at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, Tina leaves a legacy of innovation, mentorship and excellence in patient care.
- Elder Carol Peters
A proud member of the Chawathil First Nation, Carol has spent over 20 years transforming health care for Indigenous communities with courage and vision.
