  • The Canadian Institute for Health Information
    Provides data and information used to accelerate improvements in health care, health system performance and population health across Canada.
  • Health Reports
    Health Reports, published by the Health Analysis Division of Statistics Canada, is a peer-reviewed journal of population health and health services research.

    Extensive collection of data supporting curriculum and research needs.
  • Women's Health Research Institute at B.C. Women's
    Dedicated to improving the health and health care of girls and women through knowledge generation, serving as a catalyst for research in women’s health and supporting an expanding provincial and national network of women’s health researchers, policy makers and health care providers.
  • Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging
    Canadian health researchers have access to a valuable national research platform to answer important questions related to health and aging. Launched in 2010, the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA) involves 51,000 Canadian, aged 45 to 85 at recruitment, who are followed for 20 years. The platform includes data on health status, physical assessments, diseases, cognition, psychological well-being and mental health, social well-being, economic aspects of aging, and blood-based biological markers.

    Funded by the Government of Canada, dedicated to accelerating health care improvement. CFHI plays a unique, pan-Canadian role in spreading health care innovations.
  • Health Evidence
    Helps the public health workforce and policy makers search for, interpret, and apply research evidence to their local context. Access to 5,077 quality-rated systematic reviews evaluating the effectiveness of public health interventions.
  • Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (United States Department of Health and Human Services)
    Develops the knowledge, tools, and data needed to improve the health care system and help health care professionals and policymakers make informed health decisions.
  • The Cochrane Collaboration (International)
    Global independent network of researchers, professionals, patients, carers, and people interested in health.
  • Canadian Knowledge Transfer and Exchange Community of Practice (KTECOP)
    Network of knowledge transfer and exchange practitioners and researchers sharing information on best practices, events, and other related activities.
  • Health Information Management
    Helps patients, researchers, and institutions access health records, and provide helpful resources to physicians and clinicians in relation to clinical patient documentation.
  • ISRCTN registry 
    The ISRCTN registry is a primary clinical trial registry recognised by WHO and ICMJE that accepts all clinical research studies (whether proposed, ongoing or completed), providing content validation and curation and the unique identification number necessary for publication. All study records in the database are freely accessible and searchable.
