Palliative approach to care
In 2019, a palliative approach to care was introduced to Fraser Health affiliated Assisted Living sites as a way to meet the increasingly complex and diverse care needs of the Assisted Living tenant population. The goal of the initiative was to enhance person-centred care and provide greater choice and flexibility at end of life, including end of life care in the tenant’s home setting.
