This week's kudos go to our amazing people at Eagle Ridge Hospital, Abbotsford Regional Hospital, Langley Memorial Hospital, and Burnaby General Hospital.

On behalf of my mom, I would like to extend our profound gratitude to Dr. Tade and the staff at Eagle Ridge Hospital for providing the highest level of care to your patients.

As the sole breadwinner with a very demanding work life, you cannot imagine how much your help means to me and my family, particularly, for my mom.

You have far exceeded our expectations. Dr. Tade is an invaluable asset to any health care milieu. Thank you for your empathy, patience and competence.

Thank you so very much to Dr. Tade for the amazing care and support when we needed it most - needing haemoglobin injection for my mom who is Stage 4 renal failure.

People like Dr. Tade make this world a much better place to live.

I want to thank you for all the care you took [at Abbotsford Regional Hospital] in dealing with my wound on my ankle that was not healing. After three months of misery with it and trying different things you took care of it during August and September. All your staff were wonderful - everyone was professional, kind, caring and obviously cared about the patient. It is so great to have no pain and able to sleep at night. Thank you - keep up the good work!

On Saturday, October 7, I went to the Langley Memorial Hospital emergency with a flare up in my diverticulitis. Had the usual wait time of a few hours but when I was seen by Dr. Dean Vrecko had amazing care and was well taken care of. To my surprise after returning home, I had developed an allergic reaction to some medication and my throat began to swell up. So back [I went] to the emergency. This time a registered nurse named Laura recognized that I needed some assistance asap and escorted me. I was again fortunate enough to be seen by Dr Dean. Just cannot say enough good things about my experience with these two very professional and caring health care providers. A big thanks to them both.

I had appointments in diagnostic mammography and the breast health clinic today [at Abbotsford Regional Hospital]. I wanted to take a minute to thank both departments for their kind, friendly and compassionate care. It can be stressful when undergoing surveillance tests but everyone did their best to make it as easy as possible.

I occasionally visit Burnaby Hospital. I just wanted to mention that they have a wonderful book-cart that one can donate books to and/or pick-up books for a small donation. I think it is a fantastic idea and it brings happiness to people. Maybe other hospitals should have such a thing, if they do not have this service already.
