Nurse Ruth (at the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre) was absolutely amazing. She made me feel at home and talked to me about what was happening like I was family. We need more nurses like her. She truly is a gem.

I hope you can pass this message along to the trauma and ICU staff at Royal Columbian Hospital. My heartfelt thanks for the quick, caring, excellent response you gave me. You are an amazing group of people who showed genuine concern about my well- being and that of my wife, and helping us understand the nature and consequences of the problem that brought me to Royal Columbian Hospital: a tongue swollen so large it filled my mouth. I can't remember the names of all the people who helped me, but I recall a few: Dr. Riker, Dr. Choy, Dr. Kummar, Dr. Alghawas, Dr. Chong, and Jenny - plus all the people behind the scenes who helped them help me. I hope you're very proud of what you do and how you do it. My wife and I certainly are!

I wanted to leave a ‘Thank You’ for the staff at the Endoscopy Suite (4A) at Burnaby Hospital. I spent over four hours there so had a chance to see how hectic it is for the nurses on staff that day and needless to say some things did not go according to plan but the nurses all dealt with the issues and kept patients informed. A thank you also to the Housekeeping lady who kept an eye on her tasks but even noticed when I was waiting (legs dangling off the bed) for an IV pole to walk myself to the washroom. I was impressed that she noticed and brought me an IV pole without delay. Great care. Everyone likes some good news so hopefully you can forward this note to the (Endoscopy) Department at Burnaby Hospital.

Huge thank you to the staff in Langley ER for starting my son’s heart after it stopped for ten seconds and caring for him after a motorcycle crash. With all my heart. Thank you.
