This week's high fives go to our amazing people in our Chilliwack Home Health program, Palliative Care program and at Royal Columbian Hospital.

For Chilliwack Home Health

I would like to thank case worker Donna in Chilliwack for her services and her assistance during a time of need. The assistance she provided was very much appreciated.

For Palliative Care employee

Somewhere in the Fraser Health system is a woman named Ruth. I spoke with her regarding palliative care issues for my father. I want to thank you for your help.

These are difficult days when we need to seek help ... thank you for yours.

My daughter was born almost a year ago at Royal Columbian Hospital. I still think about how amazing all the nurses were to me after my C-section, especially our sweet nurse Alexandra. I just wanted to thank you all again. New moms are very lucky to have nurses like all of you! Thank you!

Yesterday my 89-year-old mother was taken by ambulance to the acute care emergency [at Royal Columbian Hospital]. She was in pain and had difficulty breathing. The first responders were as usual, patient and reassuring. My mom was assigned to Dr. Green and throughout the time she was in the observation area he regularly checked on my mom, gave us updates and did his very best to reassure us all that every step was being taken to ensure she was fine. She also was cared for by Nurse Andrew who was so patient and kind and made sure her needs were met. My mom felt safe thanks to Nurse Andrew and Dr. Green. They both made a very stressful day better by giving us regular updates and more importantly treating my mom with respect. Thank you.
