Every staff member, from terrific receptionist Kristine to the incredible nurse practitioner Leanne to professional and wise and kind Dr. Sarah, were wonderful with every single visit and phone call. They were warm, professional, treated my father with great consideration and respect, communicated so well with him - he is hard of hearing and has some cognition issues - and with myself, my brother and my mother. Because of that, he looked forward to each visit, was very cooperative about advised care, felt free and comfortable to ask questions. I cannot express well enough what a difference this made for him and for us. To this day, we all think of this experience as optimal care and we would wish all those in need in B.C. to have something half so good. We were very fortunate.

I wanted to pass along a huge thank you to Dr. Ng and the other staff in Royal Columbian Hospital Emergency that helped us out. Our two-year-old son fell and needed stitches on his forehead and everyone made the experience much easier. Dr. Ng was very calm, patient, quick and had two stitches into his forehead with no tears. Thanks for making what could have been a stressful, tearful experience a positive one for our son. He loved his popsicle reward.
I just wanted to say that I came to the Royal Columbian Hospital with bad head pain. All the staff were friendly, helpful and kind. I was really impressed with how fast it was. The doctor was so helpful and I left only three hours later feeling like someone actually listened to what I was going through. Great job to everyone I came across. Thank you.

Kindly send my gratitude message to Dr. Mark Boyko at Surrey Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department. I have been struggling to get treated for my acute headaches for more than a year and saw three different doctors in vain. Finally had to visit the Emergency Department at Surrey Memorial Hospital and Dr. Boyko's prescription medicine worked wonders for me. I feel so much better now. I am so grateful to him for his diagnosis.
